从西方解读偏好看中国科幻作品的海外传播——以刘慈欣《三体》在美国的接受为例

摘要
2015年刘慈欣凭借《三体1》获得世界性科幻大奖雨果奖,《三体1》英文版目前已经卖出超过20万本,这几乎是其他中国小说在美销量的数百倍。通过对Goodreads和美国亚马逊图书网站海外读者对《三体》的评价做定性定量分析,发现《三体》能打入海外市场,在于作品适应了海外读者的多种兴趣点。对人类终极命题的思考、"科幻迷"对科学的憧憬与想象、文学审美的熟悉感和认同感、不同意识形态引发的文化好奇、流畅的翻译等因素是《三体》获得海外读者青睐的主要原因。本文试图从海外读者解读偏好来多面地观照世界文学版图中的刘慈欣创作,为中国当代科幻文学的创作及海外传播提供某些借鉴。
Liu Cixin won Hugo Award for his Three-Body Problem,I in 2015.The English version of the novel has been sold over 200 thousand copies,which is hundreds of times more than other Chinese novels in US.Goodreads and Amazon showthat Three-Body Problem is popular with the overseas readership because of its meditation on human being's ultimate existence,scientific imagination,literary familiarity and identification,curiosity for different ideology,and good translation.The paper is to study his popularity with overseas readership to provide some reference for the creation and overseas reception of Chinese science fiction.
