数字媒介语境下英语专业学生的修辞能力现状探究

摘要
修辞能力是英语专业学生应具备的一项重要能力,但修辞能力研究一直未能引起外语学界的足够重视。在数字媒介时代,有必要在外语教学中合理利用数字媒介技术辅助提升学生的修辞能力。文章在厘清修辞能力概念的基础上,基于开展的教学实验,采用定性与定量结合的研究方法探究当下数字媒介语境下英语专业学生的修辞能力现状。研究显示,学生的整体修辞能力仍有较大提升空间,数字媒介技术可在一定程度上辅助提升学生的修辞能力。因此,应正确认识数字媒介技术在提升学生修辞能力上的作用。
        Rhetorical competence is a must for English majors. However, it is seldom mentioned in the field of foreign language research. In an era of digital media, it is of necessity to improve students' rhetorical competence with the aid of digital media. The paper firstly clarified the concept of rhetorical competence, and then investigated the situation of English majors in a teaching experiment by qualitative and quantitative methods. The results showed that digital technology could serve as an aid to promote students' rhetorical competence. Therefore, the role of digital media in the improvement of students' rhetorical competence needs to be viewed in a scientific and reasonable way.
