基于网格的空间数据库集成研究与应用

摘要
网格是继传统互联网、Web后的第三代互联网应用:网格计算是构筑在Internet上的一组新兴技术,其目标是在动态变化的,广域分布的异构虚拟组织间实现资源共享、协同完成科学和工程问题的求解。基于网格的空间数据库集成作为空间数据资源共享在网格下的一个典型应用,是解决当前地理信息系统数据源地域分散,实现异构空间数据高度共享的一个有效途径。
     网格下的空间数据库集成是在网格技术体系框架内,实现对分布的、异构的空间数据源的获取与共享。作为地理信息系统的一个研究热点,网格下的空间数据库集成的研究进展与网格技术、数据库技术、集成中间件技术的发展是紧密相关的。数据集成中间件OGSA-DAI作为连接用户和空间数据库的核心,其性能直接关系到空间数据库集成的性能,因此本文在深入研究中间件与数据源交互机制的基础上,提出了中间件改进方案;同时将网格引入到空间数据源集成中,以改进后的集成中间件为媒介,设计了网格下的空间数据库集成系统。该系统能够有机地连接多个地理信息系统空间数据源,并将它们构建成一个虚拟空间数据库,向用户提供统一透明的空间数据库访问环境。
     结合国际标准化组织关于网格地理信息系统的相关规范,针对基于网格下的空间数据库的特点,本文进行了以下四个方面研究:
     (1)深入研究了构建基于网格的空间数据库集成相关技术,如网格、GML、空间数据库等。
     (2)深入了研究中间件OGSA-DAI的运行机制,提出中间件改进方案、优化中间件设计,及扩展了中间件以访问空间数据源的功能;
     (3)设计了关系数据源、XML数据源和文件格式的数据源的集成模块;借助于改进后的OGSA-DAI集成中间件,设计了基于网格的空间数据源集成(GRID-GIS SDI)系统,实现了空间数据的融合与集成;
     (4)搭建异构空间数据源平台,以新构建的网格地理信息系统空间数据库整合系统为试验平台,以验证系统的正确性与可靠性。
The grid has been the third generation application of internet after traditional internet and web. Actually, grid computing has emerged as a new important technology upon the internet. It is orientated to be coordinated resource sharing in dynamic, multi-institutional virtual organizations, even problem solving such as scientific problem and engineering-oriented one. The spatial database integration based on grid is a typical application in sharing the database of geographic information system source on grid. It is an effectual approach to deal with the separated spatial database and sharing them with others.The geographic information system spatial database integration based on grid (in short, GRID-GIS SDI) is aim to obtain and share the separated, heterogeneous spatial database. The spatial database integration based on grid has been a hot spot in geographic information area in recent years, and its development are associated with the development of grid, database and database integrated middleware technology. The integrated middleware is the core in the exchanging data processing between GIS users and spatial databases, further more, its performance are most important factor in the new designed GRID-GIS SDI system. Studying the data exchaning theory between middleware and data resources,the author supposed a improved middleware degisn.at the same time,with the help of improved middleware, the author designed the spatial database integration system in the grid container.The GRID-GIS SDI can systematical connect to many spatial database from different geographic information system, and form a virtual geographic database platform to all geographic information system users.Considering the related ISO (international standardization organization)standard and the geographical database characteristic based on grid, the author's main work and contribution are as follows.Firstly, anaylsing in detail the associated technology with spatial database integration such as grid, GML, spatial database, and etc.Secondly, after studing the theory of the middleware called OGSA-DAI and find the shortcoming in it, the author suggest a problem solving blue print to extend the functions of middleware by improving the design of it.Thirdly, with the help of the improved integrated middleware called OGSA-DAI, the author not only designed a system called GRID-GIS SDI but also realized heterogeneous database integration such as relational database, XML database, file database in the new GRID-GIS SDI system.And the last, the author constructed the architecture of spatial database integration system, and realized heterogeneous spatial data access by running the GRID-GIS SDI system, so as to further confirmed the system accuracy and reliability.
