摘要
In this paper, the causes were analyzed according to the new analytical methods of superimposed basins, which include the theory of hydrocarbon accumulation and reservoir system and the new method-multi-factor recombination, procession superimposition; facies-potential combination-predicting oil and gas distribution. The results indicate that the causes of 50% of failure wells result from the lack of multi-factor recombination or effective combination, 6% are adjusted, damaged and lost due to later tectonic movements, and 44% are due to the late ineffective facies-potential combination.
