Geological, Geophysical and Geochemical Characteristics of Hahaigang W-Mo Polymetallic Deposit in Tibet and Its Prospecting Significance

摘要
The Hahaigang W-Mo polymetallic deposit in Mozhugongka county of Tibet is the first skarn type W-Mo deposit that is discovered in Gangdes metallogenic belt in recent years.An account of the geological,geophysical and geochemical characteristics of this mining area is given.The deposit’s type and scale are ascertained after a comprehensive analysis on its geological,geophysical and geochemical characteristics.The deposit is graded as a large deposit according to the amount of tungsten and molybdenum resources.The experience that acquired during prospecting in this mining area provides guidance for seeking the same type of W-Mo deposits in Gangdese metallogenic belt.
