摘要
Excavation is an important stage in the construction of building foundations. The procedure reveals the many geological environment problems that are associated with local geological conditions, whilst also sometimes triggering engineering accidents or safety problems in soft soil areas. This paper describes the complications caused by deep building foundation pit excavation, dewatering and drainage, and the subsequent uprush of soil and water, and land subsidence, environmental geological problems and their causes. The paper also describes the use of countermeasures during the construction process that can prevent and control geological disasters in soft soil areas.
