Hydrogeological exploration in a mining area aims at finding out hydrogeological conditions and ore deposit water-filling factors, forecasting mine water inflow, evaluating comprehensive use of water resource of a deposit and giving a water supply clue. The strictness of the technical requirements is extraordinarily important to succeeding mine exploitation. This paper analyzed issues frequently occurring in simple hydrogeological monitoring and pumping test against relevant norms or regulations in the hope of improving work quality.
