The Thermal Environment Investigation of Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau on the Basis of Remote Sensing Data
With the earth system science and earth mechanics as the theoretical foundation, the technologies of Remote Sensing (RS), Geographic Information System (GIS) and Global Positioning System (GPS) as the technical support, and the field geoscience transection temperature measured in the Yadong-Golmud-Xitieshan corridor and the MODIS data of Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau as the basic data, the authors made a detailed investigation and analysis of the thermal environment characteristics of the Yadong-Golmud-Xitieshan corridor. It is shown that the thermal environment distribution in the study area is the highest in the central eastern part, intermediate in the southeastern part, and the lowest in the northwestern part.
