This paper applied the theory of tectonic stress field and the simulation experiment to analyze and study the relationship between tectonic stress field and coal/gas outburst. In combination with actual case of relationship between coal/gas outburst and fold distribution, the authors studied the characteristics of stress distribution in different parts of fold and their control on coal/gas outburst, providing a thinking for coal/gas outburst control.
