摘要

Henan Province is the second largest aluminum producing province in our country. The sedimentation regularity of Henan bauxite deposit has been discussed thoroughly, based on the deposit exploration data and sample testing result of the explored 75 large and middle type bauxite deposit and matter source of bauxite,metallogenic resource and the ore forming form and its sediment environment. The distribution regularity of Henan bauxite deposit was summarized with the applied results. The facts which will influence prospecting includes： 1) Metallogenic era; 2) sedimentary environment; 3) ancient geography; 4) Distribution regularity of ancient island; 5) Karst landscape of sedimentary basin; and 6) structure construction ore controlling condition. And three large key prospecting promising areas has been outlined.
