Under the same geological environment, both slopes in a valley slide face-to-face, it could be called as “opposite-slide” landslide. In this paper taking the landslide in Yanjiagou valley of Zichang County, Shaanxi Province, as an example, the formation environment, development patterns, causes, mechanisms and the late evolution of deformation for the "opposite-slide” landslide are discussed.
