Western Qinling Orogenic Zone, located in the intersection part of Paleo Asiatic, Tethy domain and Marginal Pacific tectonic domain, is the central part of Central Orogenic Zone and regarded as a special tectonic unit in China. This structural unit consists of a series of EW-strike arcuate structures with arc roof toward south. The frame of arcuate structure is the evolutionary result of inherited structure undergone Indosinian-Yanshanian-Hymalyan continent-continent collision and intra-continental nappe orogenics. The western Qinling area is a large gold metallogenic province, which the metallogenic age took place from Triassic to Cretaceous, mainly at Jurassic, the metallogenic material came from the deep. The gold deposits in the study area mainly spread in the part of arc roof, secondly in compound position of arc-arc junction.
