Rock Mass Quality Based on Discontinuity Statistics and Fractal Dimension and Its Application in Mining Areas

///Taking the -510 level and -555 level as the example, statistical models of rock mass discontinuity characteristics are obtained based on site data via Matlab. Then the Monte-Carlo network simulation of rock fissures is achieved. Based on the fractal theory, the fractal dimension is decided. The study shows that the stability of north of F3 is better than that south of F3, with regard to the two levels. And both qualitative and quality analysis are given, which provide some proofs for mine security.
