Numerical Simulation Method for In-Situ Stress Field in Complex Fault Block

Aiming at the geological characteristics of Nanpu oilfield, geological model was established by professional geological modeling software Petrel and was transformed into finite element model by using self-edited interfacial program. The finite element model was inputted into the finite element software Abaqus and finite element numerical simulation was conducted. Finally, the three-dimensional stress field distribution of simulated domain was obtained. The procedure and method of computing complex fault block in-situ stress field is established by combining geological modeling software and finite element software.
