Tectono-thermal evolution modeling based on geodynamics methods is an important method for studying sedimentary basin′s thermal history. We restored superimposed basin′s complex and long-time evolution by using balanced cross-section method, and inverted its paleo-heatflow by using multiple-stage finite extensional and compressional strain rate method, with Yisui profile in the oft-com:office:smarttags" />Jianghan Basin as an example. Finally, we calculated the paleo-temperature of superimposed basin. Thus, we established a workflow of multiple-stage extensional and compressional modeling, in which tectonic restoration, paleo-heatflow inversion, lithosphere temperature restruction, and sedimentary basin temperature inversion are combined, and sedimentary basin′s thermal evolution are coupled with the lithosphere′s one.oft-com:office:office" />
