Study on Mineralogy of 40 Kinds of Oxygen-Beraring Gold Minerals Found in the Jialu Gold Ore Zone, Qinling Mountain, Shaanxi Province
摘要
Forty kinds of oxygen-bearing gold minerals firstly discovered in the Jialu gold ore zone, Qinling Mountain, Shaanxi Province, showing brown, purple and black colors. They often appear as irregularly fine crystalline grained aggregates ranging from 0.01 mm to 0.50 mm in diameter. They show purplish black streak and submetallic luster. The HM is 2-3. The microstructure analyses of the 40 kinds of oxygen-bearing gold minerals in the Jialu gold ore zone indicated that they are closely associated with pyrite, calaverite and quartz, suggesting that their genesis is related to endogenetic hydrothermal process.
