How to accurately determine lower bound of effective reservoir property is a key factor for the accuracy of reservoir evaluation and reserves calculation. Lithology of Kelameili gas reservoir is volcanic rock of fractured-porous dual media. In this paper, volcanic rocks are classified as lava, pyroclastic rock, shallow intrusive rock, etc. Core experience statistics method is applied to get initial lower bounds of effective porosity of each kind of rock. Second, relationships between maximum input of mercury saturation and gas saturation, porosity, permeability are built, and mercury injection data statistics method is applied to get a series of lower bounds. The results are achieved by integration of these two methods to determine lower bounds of effective reservoir.
