Forward Modeling and Wave Field Analysis of 2D Rayleigh Wave Based on Irregular Topography

 A free surface condition for Numerical Simulation of Rayleigh wave has been built by using high precision staggered grids finite difference.The result of two inclined layer model simulating shows that error between numerical and analytic solutions is almost equivalent,which proves that Numerical Simulation of Rayleigh wave based on irregular topography is correct.Based on this,the authors got the propagation characteristics of Rayleigh wave from modeling a small heave topography and a small depressed topography models.Finding that there are reflection,waveform transformation and re-allocation of energy in the course of passing topography.Therefore,the effect of irregular topography must be considered when Rayleigh surface wave exploration is used.
