By the monitoring and detecting of the convergence displacement of surrounding rock in section of failure of primary support, surrounding rock contact pressure, anchored bolt axis-force and the broken rock zone, the author gets the result that surrounding rock deformation, stress and the broken rock zone reaches the highest degree at the right spandrel, that is, the side near the river is larger than that near the mountain, which are not in the same direction with the maximal principal stress of in-situ stress.
