In the study of the ore deposit model, there are three points that deserve full consideration for establishing such a model. They are the classification, the application direction, and the inter-crossing between empirical models and theoretical models. Exploration models in this paper, no matter at what level they are, are all based on collecting and integrating information from both empirical models and theoretical models. An exploration model may be classified into three different levels, i.e., regional level for metallogenic mapping, local level for local exploration and mine-site level for deposit prospecting.
