The Jinghou molybdenum deposit in Jianyang City is situated at the east fringe of Northwestern Fujian mole track, in the middle of the Pucheng-Yongtai north-south-trend fault zone. It was formed in late Yenshanian, and controlled by blind porphyry body, which was controlled by Pucheng-Yongtai north-south-trend fault zone. There are three typical types of ore: line-vein Type, veinlet type, quartz vein type: quartz vein type and structurally altered rock type. The wall-rock lithology was metamorphic of the Daling Formation of Mamianshan Group in Mid-Proterozoic and adamellite in Caledonian epoch.
