Geothermal, as a new type of clean energy with the integrated trinity of “heat energy - mineral resource - water resource”, has become more attractive and useful nowadays. Through the preliminary investigations and feasibility studies, Miyun of Beijing district has been approved to have the geothermal occurrence conditions. This paper describes the status of geothermal development in the surrounding areas of Miyun district, and proposes the suggestion of further development for geothermal resources.
