In this paper, through the modern fine reservoir theories as the guide, by petroleum geology, sedimentology, reservoir geology, reservoir horizontal projection theory, the sedimentary characteristics of section 3, Northern Wangchang oilfield, Qianjiang Depression are studied. During the research, new geological logging, geophysical logging, logging and various analytical information are used; from the deposition signs, rock types, sedimentary facies characteristics, sedimentary patterns, and so on are analyzed. The research results are of important theoretical and practical value for the reservoir forecasts, reservoir evaluation and large-scale development of Qian-3 section, Northern Wangchang oilfield.
