摘要
The Liwu copper orefield in Jiulong, Sichuan Province tectonically lies in the Jianglang metamorphic core complexes. The detailed examination has been made for the origins of the ore-forming matter from the Liwu copper orefield on the basis of hydrogen, oxygen and sulfur isotopes, trace elements and geological background. The origins of the ore-forming matter are believed to be associated with the intrusion of the Yanshanian "S"-type granites. The magmatic hydrothermal fluids with the ore-forming matter migrated upwards along the pathways due to the thermal effect during the magmatic intrusion.
