摘要
In this paper, the authors deduced Chuanshan limestone deposit was shallow sea carbonate deposition based on narrow salinity life-forms and algae fossils of marine deposition existed in each set of limestone; deduced there happened twice large-scale marine ingression and twice depositional intermit in lights of the particle, color, texture and structure. The variation of depositional environment determined the quality of limestone. The limestone formed in oxidized environment showed a shallow color and better purity and could be served as flux, the limestone formed in deoxidized environment showed a dark color and a high content of organic matter and only be served as cement raw material.
