Huangshaping is one of the most important polymetallic deposits in south of Hunan. The characteristics of tungsten technological mineralogical of skarn-type were investigated by means of optical microscopy, chemical analysis, scanning electronic microscopy (SEM) and X-ray diffraction (XRD). It is demonstrated that the technology type of ore is mainly tungsten-molybdenum ore of skarn-type, which is 75% of the total, w(WO3)=0.15%~1.8%.The mineral is mainly scheelite, mostly distributed in diopside, fluorite and garnet skarn-type ore as medium-coarse disseminated and veinlet.
