The studies on the sedimentary sequences, grain size parameters and detrital minerals revealed the general sediments deposited in a littoral environment. The sediment core consists mainly of fine sand and silty sand compositions which can be divided into three layers: the upper and bottom layers are fine sand and silty sand composition, the mesosphere is medium sand and fine sand composition. The sediments in the core are in poor sorting, in low weathering, and with rich nonresistance minerals. These characteristics show that sediments in the core have not experienced a strong sorting and alteration. It is suggested that the sediments are from autochthon or nearly rocks.
