This paper described characteristics of geological heritage resources of Jianglang Mountain, and studied Danxia landform of Jianglang Mountain and its genetic mechanism in the aspects of strata, lithology, structure, and external motive power. The results indicate that the geological heritage resources of Jianglang Mountain have unique genetic mechanism resulting from the combined actions of geological-structural evolution, magmatic effect and external motive power. The research made by the authors is valuable for exploitation and protection of tourism resources and for the study of geological evolution of this area.
