Effect of Temperature on Migration of Water in Seasonal Frozen Soils
This paper examines the effect of temperature on moisture migration in frozen soils. In order to understand the impact of the phenomenon, this paper measured the temperature of frozen soils at different depths in the field. It took the appropriate soil samples at different times, and measured the water content of the soil samples. By comparing the moisture contents at different depths and at different times, the paper analyzed the changes in temperature on the moisture migration phenomenon. Before the rise of air temperature, the local ground surface temperature was being reduced, the soil temperature decreased with its depth increased.
