A set of strata consist of purple quartz sandstone, calcareous siltstone, bioclastic micrite and radiolari- an-bearing siliceous rocks are discovered in Dajiacuo area, Coqen county, Tibet. The late Triassic Carnian- Norian radiolarian Group Pseudostylosphaera sp. , Perispongidium cf. tethys De Wever in siliceous rocks are firstly identified in this paper, having an important significance for studying on the stratigraphic division and geological tectonic evolution of Jiadacuo area in the west of Gangdise.
