The anatomy of FY oil reservoirs and study on the controlling action of the faults over the oil migration and accumulation show that the oil is mainly distributed along the two sides of the clustered fault belt, and moreover the oil productivity drops gradually from Upper FI oil group to Lower YI one in section; the faults play a controlling role in the oil migration and accumulation, and moreover the faults connected the source rock are main transporting pathways for the hydrocarbon migration ; the reservoir model controlled by the faults is that the oil generated in over- lying K1 qnl source rock migrates downword along the source rock faults into FY oil layers, and then migrates later- ally to the horst structures in the two sides of the clustered fault belts, finally accumulates and enriches in the fault blocks, fault sealed or fauh-lithology traps on the horst structures.
