Shizhaipu iron mineralization area, located in Suiping County, Henan Province, belongs to the metamorphosed sedimentary type iron deposit with the iron bearing horizon of Taihua Group, Archaen. Based on geophysical characteristics and the results of high precision magnetic survey in the area and combining with metallogenic conditions of Wuyang iron deposit, Henan Province, it is concluded that the northwest part of the area possesses a favorable ore-hunting prospect.
