摘要
The authors collected more than one hundred Chicken -blood Stone samples from Changhua county and Daxiagu County of Lin an and tested with Rock Section Examination, Infrared Analysis, X-ray Diffraction, and then the mineral composition and rock species of common Chicken-blood stones were summarized out: The main composition of Transparent Ground is Dikite or Kaolinite, and rock species is Clay Rock; The main composition of Soft Gruond is strongly clayed tephra or clay, rock species is strongly clayed Tuff-Clay Rock. The main composition of soft-rigid Ground mostly is altered tephra or alunite, rock species is Alunite Rock or moderately clayed or alunited tuff; the main composition of Hard-rigid Ground is quartz, rock species is weak alunited or weak clayed Tuff; the main composition of Hard Ground is quartz, rock species is weak-strongly silicified Tuff.
