Biogenetic Mineralization of Ni-Mo Polymetallic Ores in Lower Cambrian Black Shales, Zunyi, Guizhou Province
摘要
The Huangjiawan Ni-Mo polymetallic deposit in Zunyi, Guizhou Province is of the black shale type. The red algae ascospores and their association relationship with various metallic sulphides were discovered by microscope and electron microprobe for the first time, providing a powerful evidence for the biogenetic mineralization of Ni-Mo polymetallic ores in the Lower Cambrian black shales. Combining with the results of predecessors’ researches, it is considered that the source and enrichment of Ni, Mo and other metallic elements are possibly related to the algal biologic effects.
