Baeyer-Villiger oxidation of ketones with the environmental benign H2O2 is catalyzed by C-scorpionate Re(III, IV and VII) complexes. These catalytic Re systems use very low catalyst loading, short reaction periods, mild conditions, and additive-free conditions. Coordination versatility of C-homoscorpionates is shown at Re centres.
