Effects of microstructure on mechanical properties of CuNiSi alloys

An optimum aging condition based on original microstructures is proposed. The aging condition considers the effects of microstructures on mechanical properties. The smaller grain size results in the higher mechanical properties. The effect of precipitate free zones (PFZs) should be controlled during aging. Microstructure plays a key role in reducing of the negative effects of PFZs.
