A comprehensive 3D geological modeling workflow for wide flat regions is proposed. Vel-IO 3D tool allows 3D instantaneous velocity model construction and optimization. Vel-IO 3D includes time-depth conversion of the 3D geological models in time domain. The workflow is tested in a wide flat structurally complex area in the Po Plain.
