Glenburgh gold deposit hosted in Palaeoproterozoic pelitic migmatites. Mineralization occurred prior to peak metamorphism, between 2035 and 1991 Ma. Gold mineralization metamorphosed during 1991 Ma arc magmatism of the Glenburgh Orogeny. Peak metamorphism reached 865–885°C and 6.8–7.6 kbar.
