C8BTBT-based OFETs with a mobility of 1.20 cm2 V−1 s−1 were fabricated by organic molecular beam deposition.

C8BTBT-based OFETs with a mobility of 3.56 cm2 V−1 s−1 were fabricated by solution processing.

The deposition parameters show great influence on the morphology and structure of C8BTBT thin film.

The polystyrene additive dramatically improves the crystallinity of C8BTBT thin film and the interface property.

C8BTBT-based OFETs exhibits the potential applications in flexible and printed electronics.
