Fraser Zone is a 425 × 50 km belt near NW edge of Albany Fraser Orogen, Western Australia.

Belt hosts c. 1300 Ma gabbroic and peridotitic sills emplaced in a rift or distal back-arc.

Sills crystallised from basalt with 8.8% MgO, 185 ppm Ni, 51 ppm Cu, and <2 ppb PGE.

Fraser basalts are parental to Nova Ni&ndash;Cu deposit.

Nova deposit consists of gabbroic&ndash;peridotitic sill complex.
