The paleosol, dolocrete profile and associated clay minerals were investigated.

Six lithofacies as A–F, and paleosols as Aridisol and Vertisols were identified.

Vertical distribution of mineralogical and chemical contents varies in a wide range.

Dolocrete was cemented during early diagenesis and shows anastomosing fractures.
