Granodioritic porphyries from Gutian porphyry Cu–Mo deposit were dated at 161–158 Ma.
The ore-bearing porphyries show an adakitic affinity.
The porphyries originated from remelting of the thickened lower crust with multiple magma components.
Significant Cu–Mo contributions include the ancient subduction melts and enriched mantle-derived sources.
