The element composition of aerial organs of Pentaphylloides fruticosa from different regions of East Siberia and the Russian Far East and the samples of soils has been studied by the method of X-ray analysis using synchrotron radiation from the VEPP-3 storage ring (SRXRF method). The highest accumulation of macro elements (K and Ca) was found in the leaves of plants from the Republic of Buryatiya and in the stems of plants from Amur oblast, the total content of macro elements in the stems of plants from Primorsky Krai and in the leaves of plants from the Republic of Buryatiya. At the interpopulation level, the most stable concentrations were found for Ca, K, V, Cu regardless of the regions.
