Water-soluble CdTe1−xSex QDs were synthesized by one-pot approach in aqueous phase. Fluorescence emission spectra of CdTe1−xSex QDs were tuned by composition control. The as-prepared CdTe1−xSex (0 ≤ x < 1) QDs have longer fluorescence lifetime of >80 ns.
