Pd NPs could be uniformly distributed on the PDA-modified ceramic membrane. The functionalization with dopamine improved the Pd dispersion and loading. The modification with dopamine enhanced the adhesion of Pd NPs on the membrane. A lower activation energy was observed for the as-synthesized membrane catalyst.
