Korean pine vicilin was expressed and purified as a 121 kDa trimeric protein. Thermal and chemical stabilities of recombinant Korean pine vicilin were studied. IgE specific to Korean pine vicilin were detected in 29% of the patient sera. Korean pine vicilin was predicted and identified as food allergen.
