δ18O values of carbonates are measured for Lake Kuhai on upper reaches of the Yellow River. δ18OBC values co-vary with the Yellow River streamflow in its headwater areas. δ18OBC values can be used as an potential proxy of streamflow of the Yellow River on a long-term base.
