The NASICON-ty
pe com
pound La
1/3Zr
2(PO
4)
3 has been studied by thermal X-ray diffraction. It wasfound to exhibit, around 1000
C, a reversible
phase transition from
P to
Pc1 due to a modification ofthe lanthanum distribution in the [Zr
2(PO

3]
- network. This evolution was confirmed by
31P NMR ex
periments
performed on quenched La
1/3Zr
2(PO

ples (
T = 700 and 1000
C) and com
pared to room-tem
perature results. To com
plete this study, im
pedance s
pectrosco
py measurements were carried outbetween 330 and 730
C, confirming the La
3+ mobility in the NASICON network.
