6Cl] is isolated from the reactionof the trinuclear co
pper(I)
pyrazolate [Cu
3{
-(CF
3)
2pz}
3] withPPh
3AuCl and Ph
3P in moist air. The six co
pper atoms are bridgedby
pyrazolate and hydroxyl ligands, above and below the co
pper
plane. The chloride anion exists at the center of the
planar cavityformed by the co
pper atoms with Cu-Cl distances of 3.02-3.13Å. The magnetic susce
ptibility measurements show a strongantiferromagnetic cou
pling between the co
pper centers with anestimated exchange constant of
J p.gif"> 650 cm
-1.
