The continuous production of hydrogen from tetrahydronaphthalene (1) is achieved effectivelyusing Pd/ACF catalysts (where ACF is activated carbon fiber) in a common fixed-bed flow reactor.Thus, the reaction efficiency is almost five times higher than that in a batch reactor under similarreaction conditions. Furthermore, cyclohexane (3) and decahydronaphthalene (4) can also be usedas a hydrogen source in the reaction system.
